How does a ski pylon work?

Ski pylons allow the ski rope to clear the outboard engine and other deck obstructions as well as prevent the rope from getting caught in the propeller. When a skier is in tow, pylons make easy work of a straight, steady pull.

How do you remove a ski tow bar?

The ski tow bar can be removed when the stern seat back is removed from the holding clips on the deck. Behind the seat back is a 5" access cover that has the base for the ski tow bar. There is a bolt, washer, and nut that have the bar secured to the base that can be removed with a 7/16" socket or wrench.
